Exporting the Working Trial Balance to Excel (Desktop)

What it is: The ability to export a copy of the Working Trial Balance from Draftworx Desktop directly to an Excel spreadsheet saved on your computer.

What it's for

Exporting the Working Trial Balance to Excel allows you to share the trial balance data with clients or colleagues outside Draftworx, perform custom analysis in Excel, or keep a standalone record of the account balances at a point in time.

How to do it

Exporting the Working Trial Balance

1. Open the Working Trial Balance screen for the relevant client.
2. Select the Export button.
3. Enter a File Name for the exported file and choose External File as the export destination.
4. Browse to the folder where you want to save the file and click Save.
5. The Working Trial Balance is now saved as an Excel file in the chosen location.
